Paper: Hosho Professional 85gsm White

"Artists on the Train" is a woodblock print (16" x 20") made on Hosho Professional Handmade 85gsm White paper. I like this paper especially for its wonderful surface which is perfect for inking and printing the woodblock. I use a Japanese baren to print my work. The paper is strong enough to withstand the pressure of the process and the results are wonderful and lasting.

My work is a response to the beauty in the mundane. I try to capture ordinary experiences and turn them into something extraordinary. In addition to the woodblock prints I also work with watercolors and paintings on silk.

I continue to have solo and group exhibitions here and abroad and have won many prizes. My work is represented in many public and private collections in the United States, London, Uk and Japan.
