lbertine Press is delighted to present their 2008 limited edition calendar, designed and produced in our Somerville, MA studio. Each page is hand-marbled and letterpress-printed on four colors of Pescia paper by Arturo Magnani (soft white, cream, blue and gray). This paper is perfect for both processes - thick enough to withstand the marbling and dry flat, as well as take a beautiful letterpress impression, and the gorgeous soft texture adds another dimension to the work. It's not simply a calendar - each page is a work of art.
