Paper: Arches Infinity Textured, 230 gsm

"I decided to start printing my own giclees and had been using Somerset paper to create my originals. I tried a gamut of museum quality giclee papers and when I finally tested the Arches Infinity I couldn't believe my eyes. The pigmented inks actually settled into the surface of the paper with a slight intaglio embossment. Even after drying, the Arches Infinity provided both the deep saturation of color I was demanding, as well as excellent clarity with no muddiness whatsoever. The 230 gms weight as well as the textured finish I chose dries crisp through hand embellishments, and multiple layering of mediums, without ANY shrinkage. My finished prints are then mounted on 100% cotton Arches Printmaking paper, 300 gms." Images made from original acrylic paintings, originally conceived in pastels.
