Indian Papers
Indian papers are some of the strongest papers in the world. They do not use cotton linters, but rather refurbished cotton rags. They are predominately used for stationery and invitations, but are also used for drawing as well as for the decorative arts.
The papers of India are as diverse and colorful as the culture that produces them. As the gateway to the East, India's papermaking has been influenced by many cultures, including those of Nepal, Korea, Japan, China, Italy and England.
