Evanescent is a new translucent material line (18 lb.) that is light and precious, gleaming and iridescent. Richard de Bas is a French mill that makes handmade paper in the tradition of 15th century papermaking. The paper is made by hand, one sheet at a time from cotton rags (an eco-friendly 'recovered material') and pure water. With a wonderfully textured surface and four deckles, each sheet is as stunning to the touch as it is to the eye.
