Rising Conservation Board

Description

Rising Conservation Board combines the permanence of our Rising Museum Board with the affordability of a wood pulp board.

These acid and lignin-free boards are suitable for both fine art and photographic matting and framing. Rising Conservation Board is relatively inexpensive and designed for extended longevity. The newest shade, Gallery White, matches the color of the Museum Board White.

Rising cuts the cleanest bevels with no feathering or blade drag; the surface is level with a slight vellum surface (not smooth) so as not to compete with artwork being matted and framed.

The surface is not hard or very smooth making it an excellent choice for all drawing techniques. Fine stationers and invitation converters also find the board quite suitable for letterpress, engraving, embossing and foil stamping.
