Wells Beach Huts by Tim Fisher

Tim Fisher
Wells Beach Huts
Paper: Stonehenge 250gsm White

As the consummate draftsman, coloured pencils suit my style of working admirably. I regularly use them for finished artwork and sketches. I'm finding that the demand to demonstrate their unique properties to art groups is growing ever more popular. It is therefore important to me that I work on the best surfaces possible.

Stonehenge is by far the best paper I have ever tried when working with coloured pencils. The surface seems to take layer upon layer of pigment with very little slippage, producing high impact work, that is rich in colour.

I have worked as a professional artist since 2000 and regularly contribute articles to the Leisure Painter. I recently held a solo exhibition at the Barbican Centre, London, which was featured in the Art of England magazine.
