Whether you choose Cherry or Birch, it’s a paper that constantly reminds you that it’s not just a wood in name. It has everything: The grain, the knots, the perfect “imperfections”, the texture, and perhaps most important, the feel. You’ll appreciate it as wood but relish it as paper.
Pliable and welcoming, Timberluxe will add an organic spirit to whatever you create, whether it be fine art or stationery. It’s a unique and unexpected medium also perfect for foil stamping, offset printing, silkscreen, letterpress and packaging.
Timberluxe is thin veneer of wood shaved directly from a log and laminated to a thin PET or kraft carrier. The wood will have natural defects, such as dark spots, cracks, general wood bruising or even a small hole. As it is 100% natural wood, the color shade and grain pattern can vary between batches, or even within a roll. There can be slight caliper variations between batches. Each tree, each log is different and therefore unique.
